Derek Overbey is the Sr. Director of Marketing & Social Media and brings more than 14 years of technology and real estate experience to Roost.com. Prior to Roost.com, Derek spent more than five years as the Vice President of Marketing at Intero Real Estate Services.
Prior to his positions at Intero, Derek oversaw or consulted on various marketing and public relations duties at a multitude of startups and established global brands including eHome, SoMA Real Estate, Gateway, Toshiba, Hitachi, Sotheby’s International Realty and Alain Pinel Realtors.
Derek has a huge passion for blogging and is the primary voice at the Roost blog, as well as other high profile real estate blogs.
Derek holds a BA in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University at Fullerton.
